Breeder's of Champion Arabian
Horses
Morris and Patricia Caldwell own
The Oasis Ranch located on 40 acres of rolling hills. The Oasis Ranch was established in 1975
and has been in business longer than any other Arabian
horse business, possibly any horse business in Ventura
County. We are a family business - we are proud of our
horses. This is important for those who want to own an
Arabian horse - BREEDER SUPPORT.
Our Sales Program is designed to
help the new owner as well as the experienced rider
achieve their goals. We offer time payments and
discounts on multiple purchases of horses and/or
breedings. We offer one month free training with
purchase of a horse ~ the horse must remain on The Oasis
Ranch and pay board for that month. With many sales we
offer future trade-back possibilities.
All of the Arabian Horses owned by
the Oasis Ranch have been trained by the Caldwell family
~ Morris, Patricia and Andrea. Andrea is one of the few
Saddle Seat Trainers in Ventura County. She has trained
and shown most of our many Champion horses and many
Amateur and Junior riders to their Championships.
Our Breeding Program includes the
bloodlines of three Top-Siring National Champion
Stallions of the Arabian Horse Industry...Khemosabi,
Bask and Aladdinn. Our horses are beautiful, however,
our focus is on performance, in and out of the show
ring. We have bred horses that have won over 100
Championships, Top-Tens or Top-Fives at the Nationals,
Regionals, Class A and local Shows and Events. Our
performance goals are to produce English/Country English
trotting horses (saddle seat) and our Championships
reflects our success in achieving this goal. We also
have Park, Native Costume, Halter and Western
Championships. That disposition is very important to our
breeding program is evidenced by the many Championships
Juniors have won riding our Stallions. In the Horse Show
World of all breeds, Arabians are the only stallions
that juniors under 18 are allowed to show in
performance.
